Our Beef

We have a small beef herd that we use for grazing lower quality land and deriving extra value from the cover crops we grow on our production land AND because we love cows! These guys are our wonderful recyclers while providing beautiful, delicious and healthy protein.  These animals are born on Shuswap farms and ranches and come to us in the spring at around 800 lbs. We graze them through the summer and finish them on organic grains from our feed mill as well as our produced forages.  We are aiming for a well finished 1,200 – 1,400 lbs animal with butcher dates in November and December selling as halves, whole and quarters.
